SANOG 7
16-24 January 2006, Mumbai, India

SANOG was hosted by Internet Service Providers' Association of India (ISPAI) in the financial capital of India, Mumbai, in early 2006. This was the first time ISPAI is hosting SANOG, but it's the second instance of SANOG in India. Major Indian and quite a few global operators have operations in Mumbai, which made SANOG7 a truly global one. We had more than 225 participants and some very interesting presentations. Thankyou to everyone who worked to make it a success.

SANOG VII Keynote:

Daniel Karrenberg, Chief Scientist, RIPE NCC

Daniel Karrenberg has been with the Internet since it early days in early 70s. He was responsible for the establishment of the RIPE NCC, the first RIR. He was also the first operator of the internet root server outside the US. Daniel has long been associated with Internet routing research, DNS operations and test traffic measurements in recent years. He currently is the chief scientist at the RIPE NCC.
